Event Drone Filming and Aerial Coverage

Festivals, live sport, concerts, and corporate events, filmed from the air and on the ground by one crew, anywhere in the UK.

From Danny Boyle's Pages of the Sea to the start line of the round-the-world Clipper Race, we've spent 10+ years filming some of the UK's biggest moments, for live TV, social media, and marketing campaigns. We know how to capture the scale of an event... without getting in its way!

No event too big or small (or weird)

    Festivals & Concerts

From gates open to the final encore

Festival and concert drone filming that captures the crowd, the site, and the main stage lights. We've flown live aerial visuals for Fatboy Slim in Brighton and mapped Victorious Festival from above, always planning flights around the crowd rather than over it.

    Sport at full speed

    Live Sport

    Sport at full speed

FPV pilots who keep pace at up to 100mph, and cinema drones holding the wide shot of the whole course. From rally stages to ocean racing yachts, we work alongside marshals, officials, and broadcast crews.

Launches, conferences, and nights to remember

    Corporate & Conferences

Launches, conferences, and nights to remember

Guarded indoor drones fly safely through venues with guests in the room, while our ground crew catches the speeches and the details. Corporate events, product launches, conferences, and VIP dinners, filmed without getting in the way.

    Live from above

    Live Streaming

    Live from above

Live aerial streams for your big screens, your socials, or a broadcast team. We streamed the Clipper Race live and flew for Danny Boyle's Pages of the Sea, and every stream is recorded in full quality for afterwards.

Regattas, race starts, and harbour festivals

    On the Water

Regattas, race starts, and harbour festivals

Regattas, race starts, and harbour festivals, filmed by a crew based on the Solent. We know tides, vessels, and how to follow a moving fleet without losing the shot.

    Closer to home

    Charity & Community

    Closer to home

Charity and community events on our doorstep, from abseils down the Spinnaker Tower to the Railway 200 flashmob. Good aerial footage helps charities win press coverage and raise more money.

Why drones are great for events

Events are over in a flash, but the footage lasts forever. One aerial shot of a packed festival field or an historic sports game can become the 'money shot' of promotional media for years to come. Plus: work with the right team (hint: that's us) and drones can also help with aspects of planning, like mapping and land surveys.

    Why Choose Us for Events

    Air and ground, one crew

Drone pilots and camera operators working as one team, so every angle tells the same story.

    Indoor FPV

Small, guarded cinewhoop drones for venues, marquees, and conference halls.

    Live aerial streams

The view from above on your big screens or straight to your socials.

    Same-day edits

Vertical clips for social while people are still talking about your event.

    Built for speed

FPV pilots who keep pace with sport and motorsport at up to 100mph.

    Safety first

Risk assessments, flight plans, and crowd-safe operations as standard.

    What our clients say

Mike and Sara Woods of Solent Sky Services
    Who we are

    One crew, the whole shoot

We're a family-run crew based in Portsmouth, and we cover the whole shoot: drones in the air, cameras on the ground, and an edit that's ready when you need it. That might be vertical clips for social before the headliner has left the stage, a live aerial feed on the big screens, or a highlights film that helps sell next year's tickets.

We're leaders in event drone safety

Safety comes first, especially around crowds. Every event gets a site recce, a risk assessment, and a flight plan agreed with the organisers, the venue, and the airspace authorities, so the only thing you need to worry about is the event itself.
