You’ll be working with legally-approved professional pilots. We hold operational authorisation, granted to us by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), and are fully-qualified and experienced for working in cities and busy ports, for legal FPV flying! We’re also a member of Drone Safe Register.

Aerial Footage for Brittany Ferries
We provided France-to-UK ferry firm Brittany Ferries with a batch of cinema-quality aerial videos for their marketing materials. We sought permissions from the Queen’s Harbour Masters in Portsmouth and Plymouth, where the shoots took place, and also went a step further for our Plymouth flights, acquiring approval from the Association of British Ports! A member of staff from Brittany Ferries joined us for the flights, and we had a great time talking her through our plans, storyboards, framing, and equipment technicalities! We had to hand-launch and hand-catch drones from boats for some shots. See our favourite clips in this highlights reel.
A Tour of Spitbank Fort and No Man’s Fort
We paid a visit to two of the luxury Solent Forts hotels: Spitbank Fort and No Man’s Fort. We captured some incredible footage during the trip, including some stunning drone shots. Between the forts, you’ll find a labyrinth of bedroom suites, countless function rooms, bars and cellars, lighthouses, hot tubs, saunas, spas, fire pits, and… a laser battle arena! If you’re ready to tick ‘engage in a laser battle on an historic fort island hotel’ off your bucket list, now’s your chance. It was amazing to see how these truly unique venues are facilitating corporate events, weddings, parties, romantic getaways, and day trips.
Drone and Ground Video for Wightlink Ferries
If you saw a couple of blokes lugging around hefty cases filled with drones, cameras, and battery charging stations aboard a Wightlink ferry in the latter half of 2018, that was us shuttling to and from the Isle of Wight curating a large collection of aerial and ground footage for the passenger transit company’s marketing assets. We can’t show you any of the videos (everyone’s best work ends up under NDA, right?) but here’s a lovely highlights reel of Wightlink vessels we’ve shot outside of commercial projects.
