Flying at 1,700ft: Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight photographed from a plane
If you’re shooting a documentary titled A Different Perspective of Portsmouth, it’s your moral obligation to capture as many different perspectives of Portsmouth as possible!
And so, Mike recently took to the skies with something other than a drone! He joined talented pilot Luke Rhodes in climbing to around 1,700ft, to snap some aerial visuals of Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight from above.
It’s not often Mike shoots from above 400ft. He didn’t just ride shotgun, either; Luke gave him the chance to follow through on the controls! “It was exhilarating, but felt surprisingly natural,” Mike said.
“The first, but definitely not the last time taking to the skies for a manner flight!”
