Drone filming for John Reilly Civil Engineering
Multi-site aerial coverage of groundworks, sewerage, and land clearance projects
Pre-Production
The first site was the Bellway Homes Wessex project in Southampton, where John Reilly provided roads and sewers, domestic groundworks, and substructure to 250 houses. The second was Barratt David Wilson Southern Counties in Basingstoke, where they undertook highway improvements, roads, sewers, domestic groundworks, and substructure to 522 units.
Production
Our ground and drone footage outlined the team's approach to transporting and repurposing trees and foliage. We also had time-lapse cameras set up for the shoots, capturing hours of build and clearance footage to intercut with aerial visuals and dynamic ground videos.
Post-Production
The resulting videos gave John Reilly two distinct website headers: one showcasing the finished infrastructure of a completed housing development, and the other documenting the raw land clearance stages of their work. Together, they tell the full story of what the civil engineering firm delivers from start to finish.
